My Story
A little bit about me...
My mission: My mission is to provide with fresh, natural photography that reflects your style, your family, and the way you live. My style is honest and fun, celebrating life, love and family. My personal goals: I want my images to tug at your heart strings and make you smile as you are whisked back to that moment in time. I strive to create timeless portraits that show each person's personality and originality. I want to help you capture the wonderful moments that we sometimes take for granted until they have passed: the precious innocence of a newborn baby, the wonder in your toddler's eyes, the confident smile of your high school senior with an exciting future on the horizon, that look your husband gave you when you were newly married. I am passionate about what I do, and I want that to be apparent in my work. I believe that a truly beautiful portrait warms a home more than any other item, and that it will reward your family for generations! What better way to remember wonderful memories than having visual reminders of them on the walls of your home? Don't let another year go by without booking your family portrait session. In the blink of an eye, children are grown, family members move, and you're in a new phase of life. Trust me, those are my "littles" over there on the right... I feel like I was rocking them to sleep a few months ago, and now my oldest son is in college! My story: My name is Rebecca Miles, and I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I have been capturing lives with a camera for well over a decade. There is nothing better than capturing a moment, a feeling, a laugh, or an embrace-forever. Before I had children, I was a special education teacher at an elementary school in Webster. I have always enjoyed children immensely: their curiosity, their captivating eyes, their honesty. After the birth of my children, my passion for stopping moments in time grew even more. Spending time with my children and watching them giggle and play together is my favorite thing to do. It also made me realize even more how fleeting time is, and how quickly each phase of life passes by. I have learned through experience that recording memories is the best way to preserve the lives of those we hold most dear. After some formal training, and the support of my wonderful husband, I decided to take my photography to the professional level. That was over 12 years ago! This brings me to where I am now; I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love as a profession and honored to meet such special people along the way. My life is very full, and I have so much to be grateful for! So rather than grow my business much larger, I have chosen to grow deeper and really personalize this business to give my customers the time and personal attention I want to give them. To me, every day is history in the making. The more we capture, the more we keep forever... I'd love to create some beautiful portraits for your family to cherish.
